Edinburgh Marathon 2012 : Who is running ?

Written on 21st March 2012 by Hoffmann Staff

Anthony Donegan has spent the last three years working with adults with Autism. He joined Hoffmann just over 12 months ago and works in our Supported Living and Outreach services. In May 2012, he will be returning to the city where he went to university not to catch up with his old university friends, but to run the city's ninth marathon.

Anthony Donegan

Having run a marathon twice before, Anthony does see this as an advantage and an opportunity to bring about awareness of autism and our charity.

" Both times I was completely knackered by mile 14. I didn't do enough preparation, so this time I'm taking it seriously, training every day. It also helps I have a friend in the race who I am determined to beat. Another reason for taking it seriously is to try and raise money for HFA, who in the wake of government spending cuts, are facing up to the problem of maintaining their excellent level of care and support with less funding."

By sponsoring Anthony you can help to make this possible.
