News from the Hoffmann Foundation Autism charity London - Hoffmann Foundation

Written on 26th November 2013 by Hoffmann Staff

Snow was forecast, teams were dropping out then dropping back in and the tension was building but nothing could deter from that fact that this competition had to go ahead!!

Competing Teams

5 youth teams : Ruislip Town B U14s (Yellow), Ruislip Town B U14s (Green), Harrow Rangers, Harrow St. Mary’s U14s, Zeta’s Squad

4 adult teams : Hot Boys United, All Stars United, Red Devils, L.G.F.C.

Goals Ruislip donated to the HFA cause, 2 pitches to play on and the matches all went ahead with a large crowd of supporters for each team.  All participants came to the tournament, having made great efforts to get sponsors to raise money for Hoffmann Foundation for Autism and many people generously gave money to support the event.

The excitement and competitive spirit of the day was evident and this tournament would not have been possible without the generous sponsors and donators as follows:

Goals Ruislip

Miles Smith Insurance Solutions

Ruislip Town Youth FC

Ronda Bradford

Julian Todd

Gary Page

Jackie Bramwell

All participants

Also, many people took time to come and help out with photography, refereeing, setting up food and generally supporting the overall function so a big thank you to all who attended.  Awards for participants were delivered on time, looking superb and for that we must thank Awards 4U who are based on Honeypot Lane in Stanmore.

The 2 winning teams are photographed herewith and more photos of the overall tournament will be available soon.

1st Place Youth Team – Ruislip Town B U14s

1st Place Adult Team – Hot Boys United

The Award Presentation took place after the tournament where players were treated to a buffet meal and presented with certificates, medals and trophies.
