From the 14th to the 27th of November 2011 an exhibition of drawings and paintings was held in the art gallery of the Wood Green Public Library by artists who have been diagnosed with autistic spectrum conditions. Forty artists including seven of the Hoffmann Foundation's own service users, sent in 75 pictures in a competition for cash prizes. The winner of the first prize was Jim O'Shea (picture below) for his almost spellbinding and highly skilled self-portrait as a boy, called 'A sense of wonder'. Second Prize was won by Senel Bora for her powerful and assertive 'Self Portrait' while Melanie Rae Chapman from Kent won Third Prize for her delicately coloured and naturalistic 'Entangled Flowers'. The prizes and certificates were presented by Gina Adamou, the Worshipful the Mayor of Haringey.
